Nick Flag earned the chance after he won the 23rd annual rumblemania match lastly eliminating the returning modern day savage Chris Cage. This was after the both of them spent the entire match brawling with each other around the civic centre in Stourport.

This was after Chris Cage was striped of the title. This match ended in a one fall each draw but the judges awarded the match to The Barnsley Brawler. with Lewis Blain having 2 public warnings. The Barnsley Brawler earned this title match after he won a best of 3 series with Jonny Rose. He then went to a 6 round draw with Lewis Blain. This caused AWA to decide that a rematch was needed with judges in case it ended in another draw.

Mr Go won the championship after defeating Lacey James on the 4th January 2020 at Rumblemania in Stourport Civic Hall. Mr Go will face dickie bowen who is the lead contender for the AWA Continental Championship after Soul Killer was striped of the title. On the 25th January the AWA/TRW Light Heavyweight Championship and the AWA Continental Championship are unified to become the AWA Top Rope Wrestling Youtube Championship.

Foxy's Freakshow became the AIWF 6 Man Tag Team Champions after defeating Soul Killer, Bully Boy Carter and Outpatient for the vacant AIWF 6 Man Tag Team Championship on the 22nd December 2019 at the eagle and spurs pub. Foxy's Freakshow consists of Fantazmo, Monty Bird, Bam Bam Booyeah and the leader of the group The Foxcatcher. Since winning the championship they have also won the 2019 Tag Team of the Year Award.
